Only markings appear to be 1840 stamped on the left side of the barrel, and 179 over 1867 on the butt plate. Bore size is approximately .69 Caliber. Numbers are stamped on the left side of the stock above the trigger guard, and three cartouches appear in the check weld on the left side of the stock. Length of pull appears to be approximately 13". Includes a blade front sight and a folding leaf rear sight. (This is an antique firearm - No FFL or 4473 Required)
