Serial #: 3153   The Gwyn & Campbell was made in Hamilton, Ohio, with approximately 8,200 produced between 1863 to 1864.  This Carbine appears to be functional, however it has has heavy pitting on all exposed metal surfaces.  This .52 caliber percussion breechloader features a 20" round barrel, and a saddle ring on the left side of the receiver.  The side plate is stamped: "GYYN & CAMPBEL; PATENT 1862; HAMELTON O." An inspector cartouche is located on the left side of the stock near the receiver. (This is an antique firearm - No FFL or 4473 Required)
