Serial #: V483217  Smith & Wesson "Victory Model" six shot revolver chambered in .38 Special. This pistol has been customized by cutting the barrel down to 2-3/4", and replacing the grips with plastic stag style grips. The lanyard ring has also been removed. The top strap retains the military marking: "U.S. PROPERTY G.H.D." with the ordnance bomb, and the "P" proof mark on the left side of the frame near the hammer. The barrel and cylinder are both serialized to the frame. Overall, this pistol appears to be in good condition.
