This opening offering features more than 450 lots spanning historic U.S. coinage, precious metals, commemorative issues, proof and uncirculated sets, collector albums and paper money. With individual coins, multi-coin sets and grouped collections, the catalog offers opportunities for longtime collectors and those beginning their collections. Silver highlights include 87 American Silver Eagles representing 87 troy ounces of silver, with additional silver throughout the auction in Morgan dollars, commemorative silver dollars, Mercury dimes, Washington quarters, Walking Liberty half dollars, silver proof sets and Eisenhower silver dollars. Six one-ounce .999 fine silver holiday bars and rounds and a Canadian half-ounce silver Wolf coin add to the bullion selection. Gold highlights include the 1993 Bill of Rights and 1989 Bicentennial of Congress three-coin commemorative sets, each cataloged with a $5 gold coin. Additional offerings include Lincoln wheat cents, Jefferson nickel collections, Kennedy half-dollar albums, graded coins and numerous U.S. Mint sets with original packaging and certificates. Currency collectors will find silver certificates, red seal notes, a 1902 national bank note, an 1862 Virginia Treasury note and 1872 South Carolina revenue bond scrip.
